2024 Event Updates

Final points:

  • Fully revised routes - go here
  • Gravel and potholes - more than in previous years, watch out for speed bumps too
  • Changing routes during the event - if you are having a bad day may be switch to a shorter route?
  • Red signs missing on the Medium route - replaced but they may go again, you are advised to have a GPS/route on your phone for back up

Seatpost Number

The rider number is designed to wrap around your seatpost - peel off the backing and attach.

 

Route

What signs to follow:

  • Long Route (100mile) - Yellow signs all way around

  • Medium Route (70mile) - Yellows until 2nd Route Split, then Red signs with black arrows to the first Food Stop, then back on Yellows

Please note: a final route check and then 3 days of sign putting out may bring to light closed roads and deteriorated tarmac so there can be last minute changes, these will be emailed to you.

 

What 3 Words

We use W3W for precise locations on the event - it's particularly useful for pinpointing riders who need assistance around the course and directing broom vans, First Aid and mechanics.

Car Park Barriers

Watch out if you arrive with a bike on your roof - low barriers to all the car parks.

Solution - park near the Event HQ, take bike off roof, park car then retrieve bike (you can leave it with Registration for safe keeping)
